[seoul=globalnewsagency] Administrator Yoonsang Kim of the Public Procurement Service visited a small giant exporter to enrich people's livelihoods.
On the 8th of November, 2023, PPS Administrator Kim visited Sanil Electronic, a transformer manufacturer located in the city of Ansan, Gyeonggi-do Province.
Sanil Electronic, which produces transformers, railway vehicle components, optical sensors, etc., is a small giant exporter that is expected to export its products worth more than 100 million USD to places such as the United States, Europe, and Japan this year.
During the visit, Administrator Kim attentively listened to the challenges the company has faced in exporting its products and discussed effective support measures contributing to business revenues.
He also encouraged four graduates of PPS’ training program currently working for the company.
* This four-week program whose trainees are mainly college students and job seekers is aimed at fostering young professionals with practical skills in overseas procurement markets and help them to land a job for export-promising procurement companies
Administrator Kim said, “The overseas procurement market is a challenging one to enter initially, but once you establish the first pathway, it becomes an attractive market with the potential for a long-term and stable supply. We will expand a tailor-made support for businesses and youngsters so that they will equip themselves with professional expertise of overseas procurement markets, thereby contributing to economic vitality.”
